Secondary school science teachers arrive each summer eager to learn molecular biology. Their first day they don lab coats, pick up their micropipets and learn the basics of laboratory safety and micropipetting. After lunch they pour and run their first gel. The pace is intense! Molecular Biology Hands-On: Cool Genes, Colorful Proteins
Bring cutting-edge
biotechnology into your classroom. Join us at Princeton University for our
two-week summer workshop Molecular Biology Hands-On: Cool Genes, Colorful Proteins. Every
day features a stimulating mix of laboratory projects and discussions with
colleagues and Princeton faculty. Earn
a $500 stipend, and 80 professional development hours while living on the
Princeton campus. Our support continues into the school year with loaner kits
packed with equipment (regional teachers), reagents and supplies. We
also invite you back to campus, with your students, for our fall and spring
TIGER Talks. World-renowned
scientists share their passion for research, and their tales of adventure, to
inspire your students. For more
information on these programs and our convenient after school satellite
workshops see www.hhmi.princeton.edu
